Join us for a planting event at Vestal Elementary School, an in-progress Depave project site on 82nd Avenue! This schoolyard green space has been built out with learning garden and gathering spaces and has had 12 trees added to the space in December 2025 with volunteers as a collaboration with the City of Portland’s Learning Garden’s program. In this spring planting event, we will be adding native, perennial plants to the project site and building out the greenspace.

Coffee, snacks, and lunch included along with planting education and demonstrations and tools!
